Jonathan Coe

Né en 1961, à Birmingham, en Angleterre, Jonathan Coe a fait ses études à Trinity Collège à Cambridge. Il a écrit des articles pour le Guardian, la London Review of Books, le Times Literary Supplement... Il a reçu 1e prix Femina Étranger en 1995 pour son quatrième roman, Testament à l'anglaise (Folio n° 2992) et le prix Médicis Étranger en 1998 pour La Maison du sommeil (Folio n° 3389). La femme de hasard est son premier roman.
